Stay Committed To Money I'm going to share a quick, simple, and easy formula to make money fast. If you want to learn how to do that, let's dive right in. So the first thing you have to do is make a decision, and I'm going to explain what I mean by that because I know it sounds super simple. So make your decision. The word "decision" is Latin, and it means to kill off any other alternatives. That's what the actual definition of the word is: to kill off any other alternatives. I know this sounds gory, but the truth is that when you decide you're going to walk across the two mountain peaks and there's a bridge and you walk across the bridge even though there are a couple holes in some of the wooden planks, you go over it no matter what; it's cutting the cords of the bridge behind you; it's not thinking about running; it's actually going on a run; it's walking on the beach.
Not thinking about one day you would like to walk on the beach is actually walking on the beach. It's a decision that you make that you're going to do exactly what is necessary to do the thing that you say you're going to do or to do the thing that you say that you want, so when it comes to money, what does that mean?
So that means you've literally decided you're going to have the money, so if you're a real estate agent and it's to get that extra sale, you're literally going to stay up all night if you have to, and you're going to make 10 extra calls every single day until it happens. It means that if you say the website for your client is going to be done and you're going to get one extra website done a month so that it's going to bring in an extra thousand dollars, it means that you actually finish one extra website, even if it means that you can't go on Friday and Saturday date nights anymore for the month. You actually make the legitimate commitment, no matter what, which means that you actually legitimately knock on doors to make the sale.
I Self-Published My First Book At A Young Age
I remember when I first self-published my first book into the wind, and I was 20 because no one would publish that first book, and I went on to sell 20,000 copies, largely out of the trunk of my car and organically, but I would go to farmer's markets because they didn't know where else to sell my book, and I figured you know people go to farmer's markets they buy kale and green smoothies. You know there's a good chance they'll also buy a spiritual travel book, and so I paid, like, 35 bucks to get a table, and I would stand in the middle of the walkways. I first started with one farmer's market in the town I grew up in. I started going to as many as I could in a week at all the different places around San Diego County, and I would stand in the middle of the walkway, stop, and talk to every single person. I would just have like a little chest of coffee and I would just drink the coffee, and I would talk to as many people as I possibly could. Sometimes I didn't want to do it because that meant talking to a hundred people. Sometimes you get people who are a-holes and are not very nice, and you know what you're doing.

Money Does Not Come As Fast As We Want

So think about this with me. Consider this when I say that most people are under the control of their environment. That means that what they feel and see affects how they think and what they decide to do. The problem with that is that money often doesn't come as fast as we want, and when that does happen, sometimes it comes very quickly and it's very easy, and sometimes you have to push through a terrible fear barrier, and when you hit that fear barrier, what most people do is they say, "Look, Jake, the money's still not in my bank account." I guess this isn't meant to be. "I should go back to my safe zone. "I shouldn't start my business. "I shouldn't do that thing." "This isn't working out." "I guess I'm not smart enough." They look to the outside world to tell a story about its limitations. Control your thinking because if you don't, you'll only be controlled; you'll be a servant. Oh my gosh, my thing just went in circles. Oh, my goodness, let me fix this. So basically, I had a total malfunction on this doohickey thing here that controls my iPhone, so we're back thinking about that.
Many People Can’t Make Decisions
So most people never really make a decision. That's what I was trying to say before the doohickey went into another parallel universe, so think about that. They never really make a decision; they make a conscious decision. They say, "Yeah, I'd like more money," but there's a difference between that and how you show up in your life. So they never make a decision or they talk themselves out of the decision because their outside environment says this is too hard, this isn't happening yet, and all that really is your old subconscious programming, your old paradigm coming up, so they make a half-decision and they're always half-in and half-out. "I'd like more," "I hope I get more," and "I wish I get more." "It'd be nice if I got more" -- that's that old saying that a bunch of people say is that there's a difference between being interested and being committed. It's one thing to be interested in making money, but it's another to be committed to making it, and the only way to know is to ask yourself if you're truly committed to it.
People Don't Want To See How Their Reality Reflects Themselves
Some people aren't ready for a message like this; they just aren't ready, like, because they don't want; they don't want the mirror of their reality to face back at them where they have to face the fact that they never make that extra call; they don't want; they don't like the feeling of facing the fear of rejection, so they always stop right before the rejection happens or they stop right when the rejection happens. I'm telling you the coolest thing is to find out when you get to the edge that you actually have wings and you can fly financially, especially since I pushed through making these videos and they weren't getting any views, and all of a sudden, in 12 months, they get more progress than in eight years combined.
Think And Grow Rich, As Said By Napoleon Hill
Napoleon Hill has a quote: "Think and grow rich.” He says that riches come so quickly and in such vast quantities that one wonders where they were hiding all those lean years, and I remember hearing that. I heard it at a Bob Proctor seminar first, and I said that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. This guy's so full of crap, and they come so quickly that you wonder where they're hiding. I was like, "That's so dumb," but then what happened was that I kept showing up; I didn't care if it took me 20 years; this is what made me happy, so I didn't care how quickly or not the money came, but then what ended up happening is that I hit this threshold where I like broke through it, and then all of a sudden it was like I broke through the sound barrier or something, and all of a sudden in 12 months I made more money than I had made.
However, many years combined, it happened like that because I stuck with the decision, and when you stick with the decision, you start to tell the universe, "I'm ready for your abundance; I'm ready for your blessings." And when the universe recognizes that you really have faith, that's when the abundance comes; that's when the sale comes, that's when the phone call comes, that's when the promotion comes, that's when the thing comes out of nowhere, that's when the doors open where before there were only walls, and that's when the extra digits start coming on your bank account. Your Current Financial Situation May Be A Test From The Universe
The universe might just be testing you financially right now, and you are sending a message back to it: are you saying, "I don't believe this is possible; I don't believe in the infinite nature of the universe; I don't believe I can make more money," or are you sending the message, "I believe I can make more money"? "I'm ready for your abundance, Universe. So, if the money hasn't arrived yet, check in with yourself and ask yourself, "Are you interested or committed?" I think you'll find out that you're a lot closer than you think. It's kind of like how there's that sign in the rearview mirror that says objects may appear closer than they are, whatever the heck it says, but it's basically the same idea with money.
