Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself With Joe Dispenza

Breaking the habit of being yourself by dr. Joe Dispenza. This is becoming one of the most renowned books on new neuroscience, on law of attraction, on manifestation, on healing, mind, body, soul, and creating the life that you want.

It's one of my favorite books. I recently just re-read it because my wife is pregnant. I'm reading all these different books on baby brains and neuroscience, as it pertains to the development of a baby's brain. I wanted to break down in a few-part video series, some of the biggest ideas that have absolutely changed my life and that you can use in order to manifest the life that you want. Check out my blog Joe Dispenza Formula Is Powerful And Effective so you can understand more.

Number one is demystifying Einstein. That was one of the things that really was so eye opening to me. In breaking the habit of being yourself, Dr. Joe Dispenza goes through the evolution of world views as it pertains to physics and the nature of reality. We used to believe a Newtonian model of the world, a Cartesian model of the world.

The Newtonian model was basically that matter is everything that the physical universe is everything. In energy is kind of this unexplainable side phenomena of matter. So it made the world out to be this cause and effect world in that matter was always the cause of everything and energy was this unexplainable phenomena that was a side product of it. But then Albert Einstein comes along and he is like, "yo E = MC2!"

What that showed us was that energy and matter were one in the same. Essentially they were so fundamentally interlinked that they are the same thing. So what's an example of matter? This wall behind me. The chair i'm sitting in. My body. Everything physical. That wall is 99.999999 empty space. It's just energy. It's energy vibrating at a very quick speed. And at this electromagnetic frequency level, it appears solid to our eyes, which have been conditioned to believe that this is a solid world, but what Albert Einstein showed us is that actually we live in a world of energy.

We live in an ocean of motion where my body and anything that you want, any potential reality that you want is simply energy as well. At the core of it, Albert Einstein was really like the greatest mystical thinker ever.

The second thing that I found incredibly life changing is in line with what Albert Einstein and what we just discussed, which is what dr. Dispenza calls the quantum you. So the quantum you is really that you are the you're the greatest experiment in quantum physics. So we now are aware of the observer effect, which was basically telling us that everything in this physical universe is entirely made up of energy.

So basically the quantum you is based off of the observer effect, which when scientists were going to look at the nature of reality, we thought the reality was composed of something called Atoms, right? We've come to find out that an Atom is 99.9, 9% empty space. It doesn't make much sense, right? It's really weird.

Then we find out there's things even smaller than atoms. They're called subatomic particles, right? So scientists found out that the subatomic particles sometimes are particles. They're sometimes here in reality, in the most minute amount. And sometimes they are waves. Sometimes they're waves, meaning they're not real at least in this dimension. They're just outside of this dimension. They're outside of visible light. They're outside of the spectrum of frequencies that our brains can perceive even with the most powerful technology available.

They called it the observer effect because what they found out was that the quality of the point of consciousness is dependent upon if it was observable or not was from the consciousness observing it. So they surmised that consciousness actually determines how the subatomic particles rearrange themselves in the world of form, in the world of matter.

Meaning that the quantum you is saying you are the observer in the exact same way that the observer effect experiment worked, where they found out that a subatomic particle could be visible and not visible. It could be invisible and visible based off of the consciousness, observing it. Everything you want in life is just energy as well. Everything is just subatomic particles that rearrange themselves based off of consciousness. And you are a field of consciousness. So your observation, your consciousness, and where it's directed, determines ultimately how reality manifests itself in your life.

You are playing this massive observer effect game, whereby you are collapsing waves and energy and particles based off of your own consciousness. Your life is based off your consciousness.

We rationalize the world in a very linear, limited, third dimensional way. Dr. Joe Dispenza suggests in the book can you cause an affect? And the answer we know from the observer effect is yes. So then the question is, can you do it yourself? And so the logical question that dispense poses is "what am I broadcasting?"

Ask yourself, Based off of what I want, what is my actual electromagnetic signal that I'm sending out to the universe and the quantum field? So much of the time we're broadcasting scarcity. Yet we want money. We're broadcasting a scarcity mentality in a lack of love yet we really want our soulmate. But we keep saying, there's no good guys out there to keep going on dates.

So there's an incongruence between what we want and what we're broadcasting. And I thought the analogy that the book breaking the habit of being yourself illustrates this with was so great. It's the analogy of the light photons or the waves of a laser. So a laser is transmitting a light point.

And the way that it's perceivable is that there's a coherence between the wave and that makes it perceivable. So it's called a coherent wave of energy. If it's incoherent, then it's all scattered. And all the light photons are going in a bunch of different directions. And you can't perceive it. What you're doing with your point of consciousness is the same thing as a laser. You are sending a message. Now, is that electromagnetic signature, coherent or incoherent? Well, that depends if your thoughts and feelings are aligned. You can think you're wealthy. You could think promotion. You can think love.

There are two important aspects of a coherent signal of intention. I'll give you the perfect example in my life. So I was 19 years old. I dropped out of college and I decided I wanted to write a book about it. I called it "Into The Wind".

breaking the habit of being you

I was 20 and I dropped out of college believing I wasn't smart or capable of many things. Other people all around me were saying that I was crazy for trying to write a book after dropping out. I believed in the back of my mind and in my gut that I may be too young for success. I'm not smart enough. And I had a lot of thoughts like that even though I wanted to be successful and had other thoughts of prosperity all the while. A long story short, I ended up selling tons of books and getting published by PenguinRandomHouse, the biggest publishing company in the world and building a multi million dollar business.

The question is what the heck happened? What happened was your brain doesn't know the difference between what's real and what's not real. And this is where I first heard of the phrase "nerve cells, that fire together wire together".

Whenever you have emotions your energy is in motion. Your feelings and emotions fire nerve cells and wire you're very being and mind to that reality. So I started conditioning my brain telling myself that I already was all these things that I want. In essence, I changed my state of being. I convinced myself through my imagination, through my emotions, and through my nervous system. When you change your state of being on a feeling level, the universe starts to respond.

That's what happened. I completely changed my electromagnetic field. You're moving beyond the evidence and information that your physical environment and your physical life is telling you.

All of a sudden you're offering to the quantum field infinite possibilities that you already have the thing that you want and the universe goes, Oh, okay, boom, let me give it to you. And this in essence is what it means to break the habit of being yourself. It's time to stop saying and feeling "i'm broke" or "there are no good guys or girls left" or "i'm not smart enough". All of that is just a bad habit you've picked up. Thoughts are habits and you can create new ones that will serve you in the highest.

Thanks so much for being here today.
