I was really nervous because I had dropped out of college and I had kind of put all my eggs in this basket; this was if I busted my butt enough to get my self-published book to sell 10,000 copies, so Penguin Random House ended up giving me a book deal, and I was kind of riding on the fact that this would work out, but I was really nervous about it, and I was spending a lot of time trying to figure out marketing pros and stuff like that, and then I read that book. And so I went to bed, did my stuff, did some interviews with the publisher, and whatnot, and I woke up to an email after I did an interview with George Nori on Coast to Coast AM, and if you know that show or not, it plays at like 2 o'clock or something like that, and I was at 12 o'clock at night, like 12 to 2 or something.

It's a late night show and audio only radios and stuff like that, so I get this email from this lady that's like, "Hey, I was wondering how much it cost to book you," and it was from like a really big company, and I was like, "Okay, this is interesting," because my goal was to be a big speaker and stuff, but I wasn't getting contacted by big companies or anything, and I was like, "Okay, this is interesting."  It turns out that what happened was that the lady manager, um, was asleep in the middle of the night. Hypnosis For Success - Weird Random Incidents Happened

She couldn't sleep, so she hit the radio to get some background noise so she could fall back to sleep. I was on Coast to Coast AM with George Nori, and she liked some stuff that I said or something, so she just kind of wrote my name down and fell back to sleep, and then the next day she gave it to her staff and said, "Hey, figure out whether to hire this guy." I ended up getting a huge deal, my biggest deal I'd ever gotten; it was a lot of money for me, and I found out once I got there that's how they met me; that's how she found out about me. I had no idea; I assumed it was because someone had told him about me; I had no idea she couldn't communicate in English. 

Amazing things happen when you try hypnosis for success. She was asleep, woke up in the middle of the night, couldn't go back to sleep, turned on her radio, and was planning to use it as background static noise when she heard me say something at the exact moment she liked, so she wrote down my name. It ended up being a huge business opportunity for me that was truly life-changing, and it all happened in these weird, random little coincidences, right?
