How To Change Thoughts About Money

How To Change Thoughts About Money - What if I told you that if you could change your thoughts about money, you could actually change the amount of money in your life, the amount of money in your bank account, and the amount of money that you earn in a year? I know that sounds like a crazy concept. Maybe you've never seen one of my videos before, and you're looking at this unshaven guy with long hair, and you're thinking, "What does he know?" Don't take my word for it. I don't agree with all of these people or how they live their lives, but I do agree with the common thread that they all have, and all of these people say that your thoughts fundamentally create your success in life. Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Will Smith, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the list goes on, as have Jay-Z, the rapper, Big Sean, Winston Churchill, Shakespeare, and others. All of these leaders or top successful people disagree on virtually everything, and I disagree with a lot of them too, but we agree on one thing: you become what you think about all day long, and this specifically affects your financial life.

Money Can Attract Your Life

Money Can Attract Your Life

How you think about money fundamentally controls the amount of money that you earn, and I'm going to share with you three quick and easy ways to change your thoughts about money so that you can attract more of it into your life and don't have to work harder for it. You have to change your subconscious thoughts, so my name is Jake Ducey with jakeducey.com, and if you believe that your thoughts create your reality, let me know if you're excited to change your thoughts about money to start attracting more of it into your life.

Step number one is that money has ears, and it hears when you call. Step number one is that money has ears, and it hears when you call. I know that this sounds absurd, but I want you to think of it like a romantic relationship—not in the way that you're going to go to bed with your money, but think of it like this: If you said the things that you thought about money to a romantic partner, a husband, a wife, a boyfriend, a girlfriend, or a new person you were dating, and you told them that they were the root of all evil, told them that you were happier without them, told them that you wished you didn't live in a world where you had to deal with them, told them that you weren't good enough and they weren't smart enough, that more money, more problems. So instead of that phrase, you said, "More problems, more bills.”

Money Can Take Control Of Everything

More issues would arise if you simply replaced money with their name. How long would they stick around? not very long; they would leave you very quickly yet. This is what almost everybody does: they actively work hard for money; they spend 40 hours of their week working for it, yet money is the thing that controls most of their lives. Psychologists say that 95% of your life is made up of habitual thought patterns that are stored in your subconscious. Those habitual thought patterns control 95 percent of the outcomes in your life, meaning that 95 percent of the financial results that you get, whatever your income level is, are controlled by subconscious thought patterns.

It's amazing when you finally figure it out because it means you can finally take control of your financial life. So you go, "Oh my gosh, I've been working 40 or 50 hours a week my entire life; I've worked my butt off, and I'm not making the financial progress that I want." "Could that mean that I'm on the wrong road map?" Yes, because no matter how hard you work, if you don't change your thinking about something, you'll never change your relationship with it, and you'll never change the message you're sending to your subconscious mind. That message to your subconscious mind controls 95 percent of your life.

Money Is The Root Of All Evil

If you believe that hard work and honesty will bring you riches on their own, let that thought go when you stop looking for the answer in hard work alone, as Napoleon Hill said. When riches do come, they come in such vast quantities that one wonders where those things were hiding all those lean years. That's what Napoleon Hill said in his famous book, "We Can Grow Rich," so think about it. If you start to change your conversation about money and start to say, "Well, what type of thoughts would I have if I were somebody with money?" "How would my thoughts be different if I wasn't wishing for it?" they aren't. Money's root of all evil is a common one, as is "I'm not good enough" or "I'm not smart enough" or "it's too hard" or "I don't have the time or money."

More money, more problems. In fact, I have far fewer problems in my life. The more money I've made and the more you talk about money, the more it's my right to be wealthy. And you start eliminating things like "I'm not good enough," "I'm not smart enough," and you actually said, "While I'm here in the third dimension, money is an important vehicle, an important medium, and I want more of it." So you built your thoughts as if you were somebody who already had it, and you said, "Like, how does Oprah think about money?" "What do Donald Trump, Barack Obama, or Will Smith think about money?” I can assure you they aren't sitting around in their beds saying the rich people have it all and it's the root of all evil and I'm not good enough, and Jake, it's just too hard, so think about it.

The Three Planes

So ask yourself: Are you inviting it into your life? Money has ears, and it hears when you call because, trust me, if you start calling it and you change your thoughts about it, it's going to start coming. Step number two: aren't you calling it or complaining about it? This is just a simple, objective way for us to look at our relationship with money from a mental plane; we exist on three planes: the physical plane, the spiritual plane, and the mental plane. The mental plane is a realm of thought, so then the question is, are you calling money into your life or are you focused on the absence of it?

It was said very interestingly in the Bible, and I always talk about it because I think it's one of the best quotes ever that illustrates quantum physics: "Those who have more give it to those who don't, and even what I have is taken away." So what does that mean? More money means more problems, and you know I'm glad I don't have it because it doesn't make you happy. Money isn't important if all you do is complain about not having it; if all you say is that more money means more problems, and you already know it. I'm glad I don't have it because it doesn't make you happy. Money isn't important if all you do is whine about not having enough of it; if all you say is that more money means more problems, and you already know I'm glad I don't have it because it doesn't make you happy, If you say those things, you are focused on the fact that it is missing in your life.

The Observer Effect

Quantum physics tells us through the observer effect that your consciousness determines how subatomic particles arrange themselves in your life. Everything, including money, follows the same universal law. This law says that subatomic particles, which are the building blocks of all physical matter in the universe, arrange themselves based on how the observer thinks about them. You have free will as a God-given human being with God-given mental faculties to use your free will, to use your own consciousness, to focus on what you want. So the question is, are you focused on money in your life or the absence of it? And you say, "Well, I don't have any money in my life, so how can I focus on it?" Well, start getting your mind on the vibratory frequency of prosperity. "Do you have any shoes?" Next, do you have a car? Do you have an iPhone or a computer you're on right now?

Start with the things that you're grateful for that money has bought you, even if it's not as much as you want; it's nowhere near as much as you want. Start with where you are and get your mind focused on being grateful for the money that has entered your life. This shifts you from the frequency of scarcity to the frequency of abundance. What happens if your consciousness starts to pull more things back into your life that match it? Similar to a planet that has a gravitational pull that pulls things into its orbit, your consciousness pulls things into its orbit, so it might pull into your orbit a lack of money or the presence of money, but it comes down to a simple thing. Are you inviting it into your life, or are you focused on the fact that it's still missing?

The Money Letter

The Money Letter

Now the third and final step is what I like to call the "money letter," and it's like if you had a letter that you wrote to money. What would it look like now? I know that you could actually write it, but you could actually just do it in thought as well. I remember not having any money. My letter to money would look like this: "Dear Money, I wish I had you, but I hate that you're not here." I don't trust you. I don't think you're going to show up at the right time. I wish you didn't exist. I don't feel like I'm smart enough for you. My insecurities come up when I think about you. I don't know if I could ever make the amount of money that I want to make. But by God, please, please, come into my letter.  "Hard work and honesty will bring you riches.”

They'd think you're crazy; they wouldn't be in your life right now, so what I invite you to do is write a letter to money through the lens of your current consciousness just so you can objectively see your own thought patterns about it, and what happens is that you then realize, "Oh my gosh, I really have been blocking this stuff from coming into my life," and when that happens, you're able to identify those negative thought patterns that have been stopping you.

Set Your Subconscious To Financial Abundance

So lastly, I just want to say a simple prayer: "Dear God, thank you for blessing my life with financial abundance and all the other good things in life that money simply cannot buy, and I'm thankful that avalanches of wealth flow to me quickly and easily, Amen.” I invite you to make that your affirmation today, or if you don't want to type the whole thing out, just say yes. You are ready to get the avalanches of abundance that God and the universe always have for us if we can just start to pay attention to them.

So, I'm Jake Ducey from jakeducey.com. If you haven't already, check out my success hypnosis, which is available at hypnosis.com. Every day, I get an email from someone who got a new job, got an extra raise, or made an extra couple thousand dollars. It seems miraculous, but it's pretty mathematical. If you change what you've impressed upon your subconscious mind financially, you'll change the outcomes in your life.
