I want to talk about three dangerous words that are blocking you from attracting money and wealth. This is stopping you from raising your income, getting new sales, attracting new people, and experiencing financial miracles and financial synchronicities. I know that that sounds like a big ask. It's a big promise. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance. These are the three words that, once I realized I was using them, I stopped saying. It helped me create a life where money started to flow quicker and quicker. It's almost like subconscious blocks drop off. So let's dive right into this. Remember that When You Have No Money, Do This!
So the words are "I am not." Those are the three words. "I am not" is an admission that I am not good enough to earn more money. "I am not" is an admission that I cannot create more financial abundance. I am not. Every time you say "I am not," I'm not good enough, I'm not smart enough, I'm not qualified enough, I'm not old enough, I'm too young, I am this, I am that. What you're actually doing is a self-fulfilling prophecy of your own financial future. "I am not" is an admission that I am not smart enough, qualified enough, capable enough. "I am not" is an admission that I am not worthy of a life of freedom and a life of options.
They Were Not Blank Enough
Now, not only is this totally wrong. You may think and it may seem so real, but I'm going to show you that all psychology, all neuroscience, all business, and all religion prove to us that it is entirely untrue and that you can create the financial life that you want. But first, before I get into the psychology, neuroscience, and religion of it, let's break down five famous individuals that had every right to believe they were not blank enough. Number one: Richard Branson, a multi-billionaire, dyslexic, and ADD with an elementary school education. Number two: Henry Ford, the man who founded the Ford Motor Company, was illiterate in elementary school.
Number three: Thomas Edison—that guy that created these lights that are shining right on my face that make it possible for us to film in our living room with all of that backlight against us. He was kicked out of school when he was only 12 years old, and that was because people believed he was too dumb. He was faced with difficulties in learning mathematics when he was still in school. It became hard for him to speak and pronounce any of the words, and all of these things happened because he suffered from dyslexia. Number four: Ludwig van Beethoven. We call him Beethoven, and he is arguably the best composer who ever lived. He gave his first public performance as a pianist when he was eight years old, and by the age of twenty, he was regarded as the world's most badass pianist. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance. Then, in 1796, he began losing his hearing and eventually became totally deaf. He then, over the next 25 years, created some of his greatest masterpieces while he was deaf.
Poverty Consciousness - If You Need Help, You Got To Get Help

Number five: Vincent Van Gogh. He suffered from depression and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Eventually, in 1890, he actually killed himself, and that's a testament to the fact that if you need help, you've got to get help, you've got to talk to people, and you've got to see a specialist. You know you can't just push these things down, but what it does show you is that your pain, your depression, all of the trauma you've been through in life doesn't have to stop you from creating your dream life. He's the perfect example of being able to channel that.
It would have been amazing if he was still with us and didn't end his life early, but it shows that even if you've suffered from chronic depression, you are still capable of great things. Now let's get into the psychology, neuroscience, and religion behind this because I am not as blasphemic to all three of those things. I just showed you that I am not as blasphemic as your own achievement. I just told you about those five really awesome people in a very exaggerated and overemphasized way to hopefully factor in a little bit of entertainment and keep you all the way through. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance.
Your Self-Image Controls Your Whole Life
So if you're still with me, remember "I am not" isn't true. You are good enough, you are smart enough, you are capable. Replace that "I am not" with "I am." I am a genius. I apply my wisdom. I am creative enough. I'm resourceful enough. I am good enough. I am smart enough. I'm qualified enough. I have the experience to create the financial independence that I want. Repeat those words. One thing with psychology is assuming an identity. For many, many years, psychologists have told us that you have a self-image. Your self-image controls your whole life.
There is even that famous book by Maxwell Mulch, Psycho Cybernetics, which was basically about how your self-image controlled your whole life. He was a plastic surgeon, and he found people even doing major reconstruction surgeries that made them look absolutely gorgeous and symmetrical and all these things. He was one of the world's top surgeons. They still suffered from depression and still suffered from feeling like they weren't good enough. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance. It's just that they moved their attention somewhere else after their chin was perfect or their nose was perfect. Then the problem was their butt, then the problem was their boobs, because you can't change the inner world and not expect the outer to change, but if you change the outer and not the inner, then you just redirect your energy somewhere else.
It'll All Work Out For Your Highest And Best Financial Good
So psychologists have shown us our self-image controls everything. Now if it does that with plastic surgery, if it does that with relationships and feeling worthy or unworthy of love and being in abusive relationships because you don't feel worthy of love, don't you think it does it with money? Don't you think it does it with your sales calls? When you go into your sales call and you're like, "Man, I always mess these up." “I hope I don't mess this one up." Don't you think that translates into your money? Don't you think it translates into how you save it, how you invest it, and how much of it you earn?
If you feel comfortable receiving, if you're willing to spend the extra time instead of procrastinating to get more creative and spend more time because you know you're good enough and it'll all work out for your highest and best financial good, that's the psychology. Number two is neuroscience. 50, 75, 86 years ago, we didn't realize that all of this is stored in your brain. That's pretty crazy. That's because neuroscience now shows us that your brain actually responds to emotions and life circumstances. So your brain literally gets wired by Hebb's law. It's a term in neuroscience that says that the emotions that you have with money, think about maybe your parents' getting divorced over money. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance.
Poverty Consciousness - These Emotions Activate Cells In Your Brain

Financial stress is the most common reason for divorce in the world, causing half of all divorces. So maybe you watched your parents argue and they got divorced over money. Then your mom worries about the rest of her life. Or maybe you saw your dad always yell at the television about rich people. Maybe your religion or your preachers told you that it was bad, whatever it is. What happens is that these emotions activate cells in your brain and, as we keep having these same patterns show up in the early years of our life, negative associations with money, whatever it might be, develop.
We fire the same cells and then we build neural circuitry in our brain that is programmed for financial limitation or to associate money with something bad. Therefore, our brains are programmed to keep money away from us. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance. This is neuroscience. Now before we go into number three and we tie this all into religion, we talked about business success and people that became really successful and hugely accomplished individuals that had every reason to believe they weren't blank enough. some form of a complex. Then we talked about psychology. Then we talked about neuroscience.
Poverty Consciousness - I Always Believed That I Wasn't Good Enough
I want to say this is why I'm so big on reprogramming your mind. This is why I'm so big on self-hypnosis and this is why I created my own success hypnosis because I always believed that I wasn't good enough, I wasn't old enough, I wasn't smart enough. I was 19 years old when I got inspired by this big dream, this big vision, and it was that I was going to drop out of college, backpack around the world, become a famous author, and inspire people from all over the world to wake up to their own human potential. That was what I wanted, but I didn't really believe that I was good enough. All the publishers said no. I was 19 years old when I dropped out of college. They all said to go back to school; I’m not old enough; this will never work out; you don't know the right people; you don't have the resources; you don't have a brand; etc.
I started to believe all of this nonsense until I found all of these studies on psychology, neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and rewiring the subconscious mind. Well, before I give up, why don't I try an experiment and start hypnotizing myself every day to be a happy spiritual international multi-millionaire? " I reasoned. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance. "Why don't I start programming myself instead of saying I'm too young, I'm this old, I'm not qualified enough?" Instead, what if I told myself, "I give my talents with love, and I'm extremely wealthy." What if, instead, I started to say that I was a world-renowned author, making millions of dollars and inspiring millions of people?
Poverty Consciousness - All These Crazy Things Started Happening
Well, would you believe that that has actually started happening? As a 19-year old, I self-published my first book. I sold tens of thousands of copies. Then, when I was 23, Penguin Random House, the world's largest English publishing company, paid me to write a book. I did multiple books with them. All these crazy things started happening in my life, and it all went back to self-hypnosis about my financial success. You can use it for free; it's jakeshypnosis.com, but don't get it yet. Let's move on to number three. Now number three is religion. The Good Book says that "to those that have more is given, and to those that don't have even that which they have is taken away from them." I remember hearing that one all the time.
It's a pretty famous one, and when I was younger, I thought it meant that there was some god in the sky that favored rich people. So if you don't have anything, you're going to get even less. This doesn't make any sense. But once I started to understand psychology and once I started to understand some of the laws of success, I realized what it was actually saying. To those that have more, it's given meaning that your self-image controls the abundance that you have in your life. So to those that affirm, "I am good enough, I'm smart enough, You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance. I'm a genius and I apply my wisdom; I'm creating financial success; I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, I'm attracting amazing things into my life." People that have that type of consciousness attract the financial success that mirrors it.
Poverty Consciousness - The Power Of Your Words Creates Your Own Personality

I'm not good enough, I'm not old enough, I'm not capable enough, I don't know the right people, I need to build a network, I don't have this, I don't have that. Why do those people constantly attract crappy financial situations? Because even what they have is taken away from those who do not have it. The power of your words creates your own personality, which controls every aspect of your financial and work-related life. Now you can start to reprogram that by affirming "I'm a genius and I apply my wisdom; I'm good enough, I'm smart enough." You understand that you have everything you need to be financially successful. All of the stuff, all the baggage, everything that's happened in your life up until this moment. It doesn't need to be the weight that drags you down.
It could be the fuel and the very thing that makes you successful. So every time you catch yourself saying "I am not" with respect to money, remind yourself "I'm a genius, I apply my wisdom, I am attracting large sums of money quickly and easily, I have million dollar ideas within me, I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, it is my right to be rich, it is my right to have freedom options, I'm worthy of everything that I desire" and bring this into every single financial activity and every working career-related activity that you do. You need to learn how to be aware of your poverty consciousness to avoid hindrances blocking your manifestations for abundance. Bring this consciousness into it and you're going to notice that even the things that you were doing before that weren't working out, all of a sudden they start to work out. This is the power of these words. "I am good enough, I am smart enough," and it also shows you the negative power of those three words, "I am not."
