I asked myself a question: what would I create in my life if I never dated or was in a relationship with someone again? How would I build my life? I started doing that and then, out of nowhere, two years later, when I least expected it, that's exactly how I met my wife Ashley. That's exactly what happened to me before I met Ashley. I thought this person was great, and then it didn't work out the way I wanted, and I was really sad and depressed. Did I know at the time that it was because I was supposed to meet Ashley a million times better than I ever imagined? So a lot of times that'll occur, and that's exactly what happened to me. I ended up asking myself that question. What would I do with my life if I had never met this person? Why don't I just build a life that I don't like? I need to sit around in bed at night and be like, "Why am I alone?

When I dove head first into that, and I forgot about anything else other than building and getting to know me, building the best version of me and getting to know me, and building the best version of my life, what happened was I was being groomed in order to meet Ashley. The fifth sign that the universe will want you to be with someone is that it's going to make it very obvious.
The Relationship Will Improve All Other Areas Of Your Life
You won't have to second-guess and third-guess it because you'll run into them twice at the grocery store in the same aisle, picking up the same head of lettuce on back-to-back days, and you won't have to sit there and be like "I don't even know how to approach them," because at that point you'll just walk up and say "I saw you holding that lettuce last week too," and they'll be like "I love lettuce" and you'll be like "I like lettuce too.” So these obvious synchronicities will be right in front of your face. My Motivation Has Improved In Every Area Of My Life
So when you're in the right relationship, you haven't labeled it, you haven't rushed and jumped the gun so hard and broadcast it to the entire wide world. One of the other ways to look at it is to say "has this improved my finances?" Has this improved my health? Has this improved my fitness? Has this improved my motivation, clarity, and purpose in life, or has it not? " It was one of the ways I knew to ask Ashley to marry me. So I knew that my finances hadn't improved because my freaking finances were zero when I met her, and because we had fun together, we built financial goals together, we put them on the wall for savings.
So my finances have improved since I was with Ashley. You look across the board and I was like "my motivation has improved in every area of my life" and so I knew that this was someone beyond any level of physical appearance or what have you. If I looked at all the most important values in my life, they had improved since I was with this person, and this is a very important thing for us to all look in the mirror when we're in a relationship.
