It will definitely help you make more money and achieve more success in life.
I'm gonna be breaking down five different journaling techniques that you can start to use in your life today. There are useful manifestations by scripting strategies you should be aware of. Be sure to check out my free success hypnosis.
How To Start Journaling by Imagineering

So the first journaling technique that really changed my life is called Imagineering. In other words, it's hypnotic writing, and quite literally what I do and what I've been doing for 10 years or so is I pull out a pen and pad and I turn on my success hypnosis and I let it play softly in the background. I allow myself to get into a stream of consciousness for my subconscious and write about what I want in the present tense.
So in this journal exercise, you know, you think of journaling where you write “Dear diary, et cetera, et cetera”. In this particular one, this is actually about reach, training your mind to the reality that you want. So you'll begin this with, “I am so happy and grateful”. I learned that from Bob Proctor, I am so happy and grateful.
Write In Present Tense
So I play that softly, put my headphones in, and then I write about what I want. And I use this for many things. I use this to become a multi-millionaire. By the time I turn 30, I use this to become a successful author and get my books translated into other languages. Depending on the day, dependent on what it is you want, you just write about it in the present tense.
Now here's the rule because the mind wants to interfere. Once you start writing about things that have not happened yet as if they already have it's uncomfortable for the mind, it's like writing with your left hand. When you're used to writing with your right hand, your entire life, your mind isn't used to it.
Be Happy And Grateful
And so here's the only rule for this. Do not pick your pen off of the pad. You just write stream of consciousness. “I'm so happy and grateful”. Now that my YouTube videos are going viral. I'm so happy and grateful that every single day I'm reaching more and more people. I was getting all these awesome emails and comments and people all over the world that are saying I'm uplifting them. They say they're going through a tough time in their life. And this has changed their life.
It's like the universe is making my videos go viral. I'm seeing my channel blow up more and more. Every single day, my books are being translated into other languages. In fact, it was so cool. I just got a book contract for my book in the South Korean language. And I just write like that. So you could do it for money. You could do it for your health.
Hypnotic Writing
Also, you could do it for happiness. And you could do it for finding clarity, and even for relationships. You could do it for love. The reason I call this hypnotic writing is that I do it for 10 or 15 minutes. And I get my mind, my conscious mind out of the way. I go directly into the subconscious. The reason I play my success while I do this is so I can access deeper levels of my subconscious mind, for deeper levels of reprogramming.
How To Start Journaling by Brain Dump

I'm writing it, and I'm seeing myself writing it. I'm imagining it. And I'm also hearing positive affirmations at the exact same time. So it combines it all up. It shakes it all up and it starts to reprogram your subconscious. I call this imaginary number two, a brain dump. This journaling technique can change your life to help your mind organize better.
So in this one, this is more of the traditional “Dear Diary”. You just write out everything that's going on. Here's what's going on in my life. And here's all the things I've been thinking about lately, cuz most people's problem is they have so many thoughts in their head. There's so much going on in their life. Life is so busy that the mind is constantly in a state of disorder. Once you organize the mind, your life organizes because your outside world is a holographic mirror of your own mind.
So in this exercise, 10, 15 minutes, I like to do all my journaling with my success hypnosis playing. As I said, you can get it right there down below it's Jacob hypnosis.com. It's free, but you can play nice music on this one. Anything that gets you relaxed, you want a quiet place, close the door, go outside, go in your car.
Therapy Session With Your Pen
If you have to, and this is you just writing everything that's going on. Here's what I want and here's what I'm struggling with and just get everything out of your head. It's like a therapy session with your pen and your own paper and your own mind. This is called a brain dump and you could do this in 10, 15 minutes.
Again, what you want to do here is keep the pen and pad moving all the time. Don't stop and think so much. Allow it all to start to come out. And after two, three minutes you hit a stream of consciousness. And then it's almost like you're, it's like a higher self kicks in or something like that. It starts giving you wisdom. So you start coming up with new ideas, new ways to solve your own problems, new ways to reorganize and simplify your life.
How To Start Journaling by Gratitude

Number three gratitude... So in this one, I just make a list of everything I'm grateful for. And I just journal about what I'm grateful for - my wife and I have always called this gratitude. Number one, I'm grateful that I'm healthy. Number two, I'm thankful that you're watching this video. There are a million other videos on YouTube. There are also a million other things other than YouTube that you probably have going on in your life. I'm thankful that you're watching this video all the way through.
I think the most important commodity in the world is attention. And so I'm really grateful that you're giving this video your attention. Let me know in the comments. One thing that you are grateful for right there down below, are you grateful for your health? Are you grateful for your money? Are you grateful for your job?
Are you grateful for your family? Also, are you grateful for your smile? Ask yourself, are you grateful for your city, your state, your country? What is it that you're grateful for? Let me know one thing in the comments right there, down below. And when you're doing this one, make a list of at least 10 things. It may turn into 12, or it may turn into 14 or even more. But the goal is to make a list of at least 10 things that you're grateful for. I call this gratitude.
How To Start Journaling by Self-Love

Number four is self-love journaling. And this is where I'll do it. Two ways. I'll either write a letter to myself and I'll literally title it. “Dear Jake, dear Jake. Hey, I'm so proud of you because of X, Y, Z.” This is an important one because we live in a world where one of the greatest problems that we have is a lack of self-esteem, a lack of self-image, a lack of self-confidence.
The way social media algorithms are set up; the way the world and society and the consumer society are set up. It's always designed to make us feel less than, especially with social media today. Everyone talks about how great their lives are. It's easy to start to question yourself. And it's easy to start to doubt yourself, but you know what I believe? I believe there are a lot of things you could be proud of about yourself.
Take Inventory Of Your Body
So, I believe you're probably smarter than you think. I believe that you're probably better than you think, and you're probably capable of more than you think. You're probably a little too hard on yourself. So if that speaks to you, especially the last one, “a little hard on yourself”, take a breath, and let your shoulders relax. Take inventory of your body right now. Go through the tips of your toes, hair on your head, your fingers, your jaw, your butt. See if there's anywhere in your body, your clenching might see your fingers. You might clench your fingers, you might clench your jaw and just let it go and go like this.
See that type of quick shift is what self-love journaling does. This is something I'm definitely gonna be teaching my daughter when she's old enough to be writing. And when she's old enough to be journaling, because if you don't take the time to acknowledge yourself, if you don't take the time to appreciate yourself, and you're always trying to solve problems, be busy and all of the things that life throws at us, we can forget about the most important thing in our lives, which is you self image, self-esteem and self-confidence which are changeable.
You Can Change Yourself
Just like you can go over to a thermostat on your house and you can change the temperature from 60 degrees to 70 degrees. You can change your self-esteem as well as your self image. Also, you can change your self-confidence. So if you have trouble with this one, it is very simple with your name.
“Dear Bob, dear Susie, I don't stop enough to acknowledge myself and I wanna stop right now. And I want to acknowledge myself for showing up every day. I wanna acknowledge myself for waking up in the morning, I want to acknowledge myself for eating healthy. I wanna acknowledge myself for all the crappy decisions that I made because, guess what? I forgive myself.
I love myself. Here's why I love myself. I love my sense of humor. And you just go on and on and on. This is 10 or 15 minutes. Everything you wish other people would tell you, it's you giving yourself that permission and that acknowledgment. First, I call this self-love journal.
How To Start Journaling by Problem- Solution

Number five is problem solution journaling. And in this one, if you're going through challenges, what you're gonna do in this one is write the problem down. And there may be a couple of them, but you can go one at a time.
So let's say that the problem is you aren't making enough money and you haven't been able to pay your rent without a bunch of stress. The problem is more money. You need more. So you write at the top of the paper, problem, need more money, not enough money. And then you write out every possible solution. Well, I could start that, uh, that side business. Oh, well, I could wake up at 5:00 AM instead of at eight.
Invest In Time For Yourself
I could get rid of my Instagram and Facebook apps on my phone and I'll have an extra 90 minutes. Well, I could invest that money into this course or into this book so that I could learn more, study, more growth as a person. And you just come up with everything. Well, I think I should ask that one guy in my office that's really good or that one woman that's crushing it in sales.
I wanna say to her, I'm gonna walk up to her and I'm gonna say “Hi. Uh, do you think you have like three or four minutes? Um, I was just looking for some advice. So, um, I'm really struggling right now. I want to make more money. You do really good, you know, can you gimme some honest advice? Where could I be better?”
Getting Out Of Your Own Way
Where, so you're just coming up with every solution like that and writing them down. Well, I could start my house cleaning business and you just come up with everything you could think of and ask yourself this question. How do I get in my own way? Or how could I get out of my own way? Then somehow ask, How do I get out of my own way? So the problem is my marriage sucks”. Let's say, that's your problem. So then the question is, how do I get in my own way?
Well, I'm aggravated, and well, I need more space between working home. And, I don't acknowledge them enough. I don't do nice. And you just list all these things out and what'll happen is in 10 to 15 minutes, you're gonna find at least one fantastic idea. One wonderful inspiration that'll come to you to help solve your problem. You can figure out another way that you can do this problem solution.
Make Your Imagination Positive
One is you can write your problem on paper. And then you can imagine that your hero is sitting at the table with you. You, you could even shift to another seat. You're sitting at the table, you write the problem down and then you move to the other seat. And you imagine that Napoleon Hill is sitting with you. You imagine Tony Robbins is sitting with you.
You imagine your mentor is sitting with you. Or you imagine that one person you never met that you wish you met, that you think could happen. That would be so interesting and inspiring. You imagine they're sitting with you and you ask them, “Hey, here's my problem. What should I do”? And you imagine what they might say back to you and you write that down.
Put The Problem On Paper
What you're gonna find is once you step out, once you put the problem on paper, you find the problem has a solution and you probably already have the solution. So this is the problem-solution journal technique. Journaling's one of those things that is easy to do and easy not to do. As Jim RO said, it's easy to sit down and journal, but it's easy to just pass it up. I give you five powerful techniques that you can use.
One of them was imaginary. This is hypnotic writing, where you're writing in the present tense, and you could use my free success hypnosis right there, down below while you're doing that. The next one is the brain dump. After that we had gratitude, we had the self-love and we have the problem-solution technique. Let me know where in the world you're coming from. And one thing that you're grateful for, I really hope one of these journal techniques inspires you.
Jake, Imagineering is a game changer! I journal daily and thought I knew all the popular techniques out there, but this one just swings the doors of my imagination wide open. I end up places I had never contemplated and I have been consciously visualizing for years. Imaginnering is the perfect name too because it is truly a gateway back to childhood limitlessness! Thank you.
